YU & CO SKIN CLINIC — TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective date: 4 October 2025 (Melbourne, VIC)
1. Scope & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) govern bookings, purchases, promotions and participation in programs offered by YU & CO Skin Clinic (we, us, our). By booking an appointment, purchasing a product or service, or participating in our offers or programs, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs and our Privacy Policy. We may update these T&Cs at any time. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect purchases already made, except where required by law.
2. General Clinic Policies
We reserve the right to determine clinical suitability and may decline or defer treatment if, in our professional judgment, it is not appropriate.
For health and safety, minors cannot enter treatment rooms and must not be left unattended in the waiting area.
If you require an interpreter, please attend with a trusted friend/family member who can assist with translation.
We uphold a zero‑tolerance policy for abusive, discriminatory or threatening behaviour towards our team or clients.
Public health directions (e.g., infectious disease control) may require screening or proof of compliance; please follow staff instructions.
If you are unwell or have flu‑like symptoms, contact us to reschedule.
3. Appointments, Deposits & Confirmation
A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure most appointments. The amount will be advised at the time of booking.
Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior, otherwise they may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
If the practitioner determines you are clinically unsuitable on the day, or you attend and choose not to proceed after consultation for certain services (e.g., selected injectables or whitening), your deposit may be refunded or credited at our discretion.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, Lateness & No‑Show
Standard notice: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel your appointment.
For Monday appointments or appointments following a public holiday, where the clinic is closed the previous day, please provide 48 hours’ notice (or the last business day prior).
Late cancellation/late reschedule: Where adequate notice is not provided, a flat $20 cancellation fee applies and/or one pre‑paid session may be forfeited.
Lateness: A 10‑minute grace period applies. Arrivals after this time may be shortened or rescheduled subject to availability; deposits may be forfeited if the session cannot proceed.
No‑show: A flat $20 fee applies. Deposits and/or pre‑paid sessions may also be forfeited. Repeat no‑shows may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Illness/emergency: At our discretion, and subject to reasonable evidence (e.g., medical certificate), we may credit your deposit towards a future appointment.
5. Payments, Pricing & Refunds
Full payment may be required in advance for certain services, packages or promotions.
Unless required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
If a pre‑paid client is not clinically suitable for a purchased treatment, we may offer an alternative of equal value or hold clinic credit. Refunds will be provided where required by the ACL.
Where refunds are payable under law, they will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Prices, inclusions and practitioner availability may change without prior notice.
6. Pre‑Paid Treatments, Packages & Expiry
Pre‑paid single sessions and packages of 6 sessions or fewer are valid for 6 months from purchase, unless otherwise specified.
Packages of more than 6 sessions are valid for 12 months from purchase, unless otherwise specified.
Clinic‑wide pre‑pays (where not otherwise stated) have a default 12‑month expiry from purchase.
Complimentary/bonus sessions included in a package must be redeemed within 6 months of the package purchase date, unless otherwise specified.
Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period and are forfeited unless an extension is granted in writing (e.g., for mandated closures or extenuating circumstances).
Pre‑paid sessions are not transferable to another person and cannot be split across multiple clients or locations unless expressly stated.
7. Online Bookings & Cards on File
You may submit an online booking request to secure a preferred time. Bookings are confirmed only once you receive our SMS/email confirmation.
A valid card on file may be required. Late cancellation/no‑show fees may be charged to this card in accordance with these T&Cs.
8. Clinical Suitability & Consultations
A consultation with a qualified practitioner is required prior to treatment. Treatment proceeds only if clinically suitable.
For selected services, a nominal doctor consultation fee may apply (non‑refundable unless required by law).
Treatment plans, intervals and expected responses vary by individual; results cannot be guaranteed. Your practitioner will discuss risks, benefits and alternatives.
9. Promotions, Sales & “Prepay & Save” Packages
Unless stated otherwise, promotions are for a limited time, subject to availability, and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or VIP/loyalty discounts.
Prepay & Save packages must be paid in full prior to commencing, are non‑transferable, and valid for 12 months unless otherwise specified.
If you are not suitable for a purchased promotional treatment, we may offer an alternative of equal value or hold credit; refunds are not provided unless required by law.
Missed or late‑cancelled promotional sessions may be forfeited at our discretion.
10. Vouchers & Credits
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from purchase, are non‑transferable, not redeemable for cash, and must be presented at redemption. Lost/stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
Unless stated otherwise, vouchers/credits apply to treatments (not products) and cannot be combined with other offers or used for consultation fees.
Welcome/new‑client or campaign credits are issued per the specific offer terms (e.g., denomination, minimum spend, one‑time use, separate appointments). Expiry and eligibility conditions apply.
Appointments made using vouchers/credits are subject to standard booking and cancellation policies; late‑cancellation/no‑show fees may be deducted from the voucher/credit.
11. New Client Voucher Offer
Eligibility
This offer is available exclusively to new clients who book a cosmetic aesthetic consultation and/or treatment with YU & CO Skin Clinic. It applies only to first‑time bookings for cosmetic aesthetic consultations and treatments. Clients who have already redeemed their $100 vouchers are not eligible.
Validity
Credits are valid for 1 month from the date of the client’s first consultation. The credit can only be redeemed once per client. Credits are non‑transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other compensation.
Appointments & Usage
Eligible clients will receive a single $100 credit. This credit may be applied toward one treatment appointment with a minimum invoice of $250. The credit can be used for aesthetic, skin, or body treatments but cannot be combined with other offers, used for consultations, or applied toward product purchases.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
If a consultation or treatment appointment is cancelled or missed, the offer becomes void. Rescheduling is permitted at the clinic’s discretion, provided it occurs within the 3‑month promotional period.
Restrictions
This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or loyalty rewards. Credits are not applicable to retail purchases.
Changes & Compliance
YU & CO Skin Clinic reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice. In accordance with TGA advertising regulations, this offer applies to a broad range of eligible treatments and does not promote specific prescription‑only medicines.
12. Referral Program
Eligibility & Offer
The referrer will receive a $100 credit after the referred friend completes their first appointment with a minimum single invoice of $250. The referred client will also receive a $100 credit to use on their first invoice of $250 or more.
How to Redeem
The referred client must book using the unique referral URL or referral code at the time of booking. If the referral is not applied correctly during booking, credits cannot be issued retrospectively.
Credit Conditions
Referral credits are valid for 3 months from the date of issue, non‑transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not combinable with any other offers, discounts, or promotions. Referral credits apply only to the first service booked by the new client. Each new client is eligible for one (1) $100 referral credit only, regardless of the number of referrers. To redeem the $100 credit, the invoice amount must be at least $250. The credit will be applied directly to the eligible invoice at payment.
Fraud Prevention & Compliance
YU & CO Skin Clinic reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or cancel referral credits in cases of suspected fraud, including but not limited to self‑referrals, fake accounts, or misuse. Participation in the referral program constitutes acceptance of these terms, which may be amended at any time without notice.
13. Results Support (Non‑Therapeutic Guarantee)
We do not guarantee medical outcomes. Where explicitly offered for certain non‑prescription treatments, a results‑support policy may apply. If, following the clinically recommended course and intervals, your practitioner reasonably assesses (by reference to objective records such as photos and treatment notes) that expected visible changes have not been achieved, we may provide additional sessions or credit at no extra cost. Eligibility, documentation requirements (e.g., weight stability within ±2 kg for body treatments), timelines and exclusions will be set out in the specific offer. This policy does not apply to prescription‑only medicines or where contraindications, inconsistent aftercare, or intercurrent conditions affect outcomes.
14. Health, Aftercare & Client Responsibilities
• Provide accurate medical history, medications, allergies and recent procedures. Inform us of any changes before treatment.
• Follow all pre‑ and post‑treatment instructions. Failure to follow aftercare may affect outcomes and eligibility for any results‑support policy.
• Contact us promptly if you experience unexpected symptoms after treatment; in an emergency, dial 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.
15. Regulatory Compliance (TGA & Advertising)
We comply with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) rules on the advertising of health services and therapeutic goods. Accordingly, we do not advertise prescription‑only medicines, specific brand names of such medicines, or provide detailed therapeutic claims online. Information on our website and materials is general in nature and not medical advice. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
16. Privacy
We handle personal and health information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and applicable State/Territory health privacy laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on collection, use, disclosure, access and correction.
17. Transfers & Sharing
Pre‑paid treatments, packages, vouchers, loyalty points or credits are not transferable between individuals or clinics unless expressly stated.
18. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
